Well it's that time of the year again where it seems the excitement and joy of the holiday season is smothered by the stress of Christmas spending. Many view the Christmas holiday season as a burden. There are few simple things, however, that you can do to eliminate this burden and stress. The first thing to do is to plan. OK, I know you are saying "really, dude, tell me something that I don't already know!" You may be amazed to know that many people do not plan for Christmas! Here's what I mean when I say planning. Before sitting down and writing out all the names of those loved ones you will buy gifts for, decide on a total dollar amount budget that you want to spend. Once you know this figure, write in individual dollar amounts next to each name on your list. If your total dollar amount on your list is more than your total budget, you will have to adjust the dollar amounts next to some of the names on your list. Be firm and stick to your total budget. You will enjoy the season much more! The second thing you can do is to simplify the gifts. Some people think that a gift card is not personal, but gift cards make great gifts for most loved ones! You can find gift cards and gift certificates in a variety of venues like restaurants, department stores, novelty places and carwashes to name a few. People love gift cards because it allows them the freedom to get what they want - we can't get anymore personal than that! The third thing we can do is to add a little extra “side income" in your pocket. I'm not talking about getting another job, but maybe doing some extra work online or starting a simple part-time business. I personally work an extra 2-3 hours per week and generate some really good extra money on the side. If you want more information on what I'm doing just visit www.ez123site.info
Happy Holidays to you and yours!
